Brief presentation of the institution:
Our goal is to give special properties to wood and to make it more resistant to thermal, chemical and physical loads. Developing new ways of transformation and modification of wood leads to highly sustainable products made of wood. Treated wooden products must have a minimized environmental impact. This opens up new areas of industrial and entrepreneurial application with a considerable potential for innovation.
