Facilities located in the Department of Wood Science & Engineering at OSU include: Structures Laboratory, Composites Manufacturing Laboratory, Green Building Materials Laboratory, and Wood Pathology Laboratory. Examples of specific equipment include: hot-press, sealed hot-press with steam injection; multi-axis servo hydraulic test frame, 4 universal test machines, fluorescence microscope, 3 FTIR spectrometers, IR microscope, Gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer.
